As an Assistant Branch Manager my responsibilities include a mix of leadership, operational management, and customer service duties. Here are some of the primary tasks to handle: 1. Supervise Staff: The Assistant Branch Manager oversees the branch employees, including tellers and customer service representatives. They provide guidance, train new staff, and ensure that team members meet performance goals. 2. Assist with Daily Operations: They help manage the day-to-day functions of the branch, such as opening and closing procedures, overseeing cash handling, and ensuring the branch runs smoothly. 3. Customer Service: Assistant Branch Managers help resolve member issues, answer questions, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. They may step in to handle escalated concerns and complex transactions. 4. Sales and Member Outreach: They assist in driving the branch’s business goals, including growing membership, promoting financial products (such as loans, savings accounts, and investment options), and cross-selling services that meet members’ needs. 5. Compliance and Risk Management: The Assistant Branch Manager ensures that the branch follows credit union policies, banking regulations, and compliance standards. They help manage risk by ensuring security procedures are followed and any issues are reported. 6. Financial Reporting and Auditing: They may assist in preparing financial reports, monitoring branch performance metrics, and participating in audits to ensure the branch meets financial goals and adheres to policies. 7. Support the Branch Manager: In the absence of the Branch Manager, the Assistant Branch Manager may take on full responsibility for the branch, including overseeing all staff, operations, and member services.In this role, strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential, as well as a deep understanding of Truliant’s ops.

This position performs tasks related to all facets of the branch, which includes processing teller transactions, lending, account opening and account maintenance, opening savings & investment products, along with other account services, operations duties, and leadership responsibilities The Lead Relation Banker will assist members from the initial point of contact through the completion of their transaction or platform need.The duties that the Lead Relationship Banker will perform each day will vary depending on the need of the member they are assisting and they will be responsible for seamlessly transitioning from the Teller line to the platform and back throughout each day * The Lead Relationship Banker must act as a positive role model for all employees in adherence to the organization’s mission of meeting the financial needs of the Credit Union’s member-owners * The Lead Relationship Banker must provide leadership and supervision of the team when a Manager is not available * Assists members and coaches the Relationship Banker role to review current and future financial goals through conducting quality guidance and credit reviews to provide solutions with Credit Union deposit, loan and ancillary products and services, ensures consistent adherence to Credit Union member service standards throughout every member-owner interaction, including basic problem resolution * Identifies quality referrals to other business units such as but not limited to: Business Services, Mortgage, Truliant Financial Advisors * Adheres to all Credit Union and security policies and procedures and assists Branch Manager to ensure that staff members apply appropriate skill in controlling loan and fraud losses * Performs all teller transactions as requested and has capability to balance CDMs, TCRs, ATMs and vault.
