BGI, spin out of the MIT Portugal Entrepreneurship & Innovation Initiative, is a 10-year-old innovation consulting firm, which aims at improving the planet by ensuring sustainable innovation successfully reaches the market. In order to do that we are creating a connected generation of builders, through capacitation, finance, and exclusive opportunities. Since 2016 I have supported BGI to grow from 2 projects to 33, being responsible for the growth strategies with the CEO, acquiring new clients and projects, and fully implementing them. Due to the significant increase in BGI's activity, the team went from 4 to 17 people, given I was responsible for the recruitment and team members training. EIT Climate KIC is an EU H2020 funded project with the biggest network of universities, corporates, and startups working to fight Climate Change. All countries have an accelerator. In Portugal, I was responsible for the accelerator, given that in 2019 I was selected as the person responsible for training and managing all Portuguese coaches/mentors. This included designing the mentorship program as well as responding to the startups' needs.

Coach of 3 editions of EIT Digital Summer Schools: 2017, 2018 and 2019This Summer School placed the students as CEOs of startups, and during 2 weeks they would have to decide on how to approach and enter the market, including pitching to top-level investors to fundraise and get in contact with the clients.I've been supporting the agenda creation and study visits, providing lectures, directly coaching the students, preparing materials as well as manage the contact with other speakers and startups involved. Lisbon Summer School were ranked as TOP 3 in Europe, by EIT Digital. I was lecturing students about how to ideate and create your own business following a customer-centric approach to find a solution. During the classes, I've also supported contact with startups, investors, and clients in order to tailor-make their solution. In the end, there was a pitch training, and students were evaluated mainly based on their entrepreneurship skills and doer-driven attitude.
