I have been an English teacher for the past 27 years and I believe I have been a passionate and committed educator. Nevertheless, I feel I have reached a definite turning point in my life.Teaching has become more and more difficult in the last years as students seem to have become more and more unreachable and more and more aggressive and I feel I have been daily abused by students in the last 5 years. I have thus decided to put an end to what has become an unhealthy job with no improvement prospects.I am aware that my training presents its limitations but I am also confident that I can be a competent and committed professional in other areas as I am versatile and am willing to learn any skills I may lack.I am looking for job opportunities that suit my professional profile and I believe my language skills can be a plus - I speak English, German, Italian and Spanish - and Portuguese, of course - with different degrees of fluency, as I have formally studied some but only “picked up” others more informally.
