I am an aspiring music attorney with a passion for helping musicians build sustainable careers. As a musician myself, I have composed and recorded original music for Exiled Hope, Figures, Metal Matt, and the John H. Shelton Project, and I have advised Devourer on the process of asserting ownership of their copyrighted music and mitigating disputes over royalty distributions. I register my own original works with the US Copyright Office on a regular basis and use those registrations to assert my ownership over those works when conflicts arise. Though these experiences have given me valuable firsthand knowledge of the music industry, I am seeking opportunities to gain in-depth expertise in intellectual property law, contract law, business law, and royalty distribution systems.
