Sofía Hegel is currently an entrepreneurial leader and expert, and one of her greatest passions and desires is to publish a book, which she is now writing and currently titled “Los Picassos que Dios creó para Sofía” (The Picassos that God created for Sofía). The book is an autobiography, which describes and details all of Sofía’s life experiences. One of His works of art was to allow Sofía to develop professionally and academically in spite of all of the obstacles.Throughout her professional career as an entrepreneurial leader, Sofía has participated in different national and international conferences and has organized and executed over 150 entrepreneurial events worldwide.She is currently an external consultant to various organizations and companies, which include: Parque Las Américas, Amcham, NBS School Business, BTecL, Intecap, among others.She has specialized in this area, strategically connecting people so as to create value in the ecosystem. She was also in charge of the entire commercial and Public Relations area. She faced several challenges such as the organization and execution of international events such as the Global Entrepreneurship Week –GEW-, an event that is carried out in over 80 countries with a high level of impact to thousands of actors in the entrepreneurial ecosystems around the world. She also organized and executed “Premio a la Microempresa Citi 2015” (Award to the Citi Microenterprise 2015), Sofía has organized and directed global entrepreneurship competitions such as: Venture Day, along with Instituto Empresa – IE-, Global Student Entrepreneurship Award-GSEA- along with Entrepreneur Organization – EO-, Get in the Ring- GITR-, among others. Sofía dedicates her life to service and empowerment for the female entrepreneur. She is one of the leaders of Arauna, which is an Association that seeks to form women who live or work in the landfill located in zone 3 of Guatemala City.
