I played a key role in navigating regulatory challenges to ensure timely drug approvals, leading to rifapentine’s approval in most high-burden countries by the end of my tenure. Additionally, I advised on strategic investments in mental health and tuberculosis research, managing projects from inception through evaluation. This experience strengthened my skills in stakeholder management, health product manufacturing, and access strategies.

In my role as a Board Member at Urban Refugees, I provided strategic oversight, managed financials, and played a key role in fundraising. I was instrumental in securing a major grant from USAID for an incubator program in Malaysia and led our engagement at the World Humanitarian Summit. M'Banza Kongo, Angola

At The MENTOR Initiative, I successfully launched a new project focused on neglected tropical diseases, overseeing staff recruitment, training, and project management. I coordinated all initiatives in the Zaire province of Northern Angola, including a mass drug administration campaign that reached over 90% of school-age children in the province. I managed a team of 25, including recruiting and training six new staff members. I also organized crisis communication strategies to address community concerns during the drug administration. As a Country Director, I directed operations across two provinces in Southern Chad, overseeing project execution, budget management, and stakeholder engagement. I successfully secured a significant grant for the first time in over four years, which facilitated malaria care for more than 40,000 individuals. I managed a team of 12, and effectively addressed logistical challenges in a conflict-affected area to deliver essential drugs and support to healthcare workers during a malaria surge.
