I am a curious and focused musician keen on sharing my passion with those around me, that be through performance, collaborative relationships, or mentorship. I have always been drawn to music and performance; it has been the means for a level of connectedness and sincerity that I have found nowhere else. So far, I have explored music through dance, choral singing, classical studies in piano, violin and cello, pop studio and film scoring singing, and jazz improv. Other hobbies include creative writing, rock climbing, and flying trapeze! I am interested in a career that includes a mix of performing in smaller ensembles or orchestral playing, and teaching passionate students. I am most interested in an eclectic and mindful artistic and practice process; I love to dig into scores, technique, and musical relationships to understand one’s role in music, and what it means to be an ensemble greater than the sum of its parts. I love to access this curiosity through teaching passionate students, and through hands-on collaborative performance. I feel strongly about breaking the mold of the presentation of classical music, and am always looking for ways to construct a new space for classical music to thrive in. Currently, I am looking for lots performance opportunities, to gain experience in as many performance settings possible; my goal is to be a completely versatile collaborator, capable of using my sound and skills to make special and meaningful art, in what ever form that may be.
