Sofia Kluch, Ph.D., directs the Talent and Diversity Analytics Teams for Global Talent Management (GTM) at Amazon. The purpose of these teams is to provide insights and analytics to drive business decisions and track metrics and goals for Amazon leaders. Prior to joining Amazon, she directed Gallup’s data science, strategy and analytics consulting programs. Dr. Kluch’s technical team of data scientists and engineers integrated novel tools, methods, and data sources into consulting activities. The team facilitated predictive analytics, increases the speed of delivery, reduces the time and costs of additional data collection, and streamlines manual processes into automated systems — maximizing data management, use and analytic readiness. Dr. Kluch has broad research and consulting experience with U.S. government clients, public- and private-sector companies, and domestic and international research organizations. Her experience with primary data collection and her academic training as an applied psychologist help Dr. Kluch construct data science solutions that will meet Gallup’s clients’ most challenging needs. Prior to 2019, Dr. Kluch was the regional director for Western Europe Gallup World Poll, designing and executing research studies in 21 countries. Before 2012, Dr. Kluch was the associate director of the Gallup Center for Muslim Studies, a nonpartisan research center dedicated to providing data-driven analysis, advice and education on the views of Muslim populations around the world. Before joining Gallup, Dr. Kluch served as an executive officer of the Leadership Development Program and as a research psychologist with the Office of Medical Services within the Central Intelligence Agency. Dr. Kluch has served as an assistant professor of psychology at Pfeiffer University in North Carolina and as a lecturer, research assistant and research consultant at Southern Illinois University.Dr. Kluch received her bachelor's degree in psychology and justice studies from Frostburg State University in Maryland.
