Ph.D. in Forestry and Natural Resources Engineering with specialization in technology of forest-based products, and more than twenty years of experience in Forest products R&D&i. Experience in Scientific and Project management and international experience as project evaluator. Highly adaptable team leader. Strong technical, organizational, planning and communication skills and fluent in English in addition to Portuguese. Currently R&D&I Coordinator at SerQ - Innovation and Competence Forest Centre, Association, focusing on:- Coordination of research in the forestry area and technology of forest-based products (wood and cork) for construction;Identification and preparation of applications for R&D&i projects;- Coordination of project applications to national and international funds: FCT, ANI, CCDRC, InterregSudoe (Portugal, France and Spain), Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe;- Coordination and monitoring of R&D&i projects including the monitoring of schedules, goals to be achieved and deliverables in the project lifetime, execution reports, as well as the link between technical and financial execution. Invited teacher in University of Coimbra since 2019, lecturing on Master's programs in Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering (technical drawing).Boar Member of ISISE - Institute for Sustainability and Innovation in Structural Engineering (University of Coimbra), responsible for the Carrer Development.The knowledge field has been focused on Technology of Forest Products (wood and cork based). Inventor in two patents. The research results were disseminated through publication of 23 scientific articles in international refereed journals (mostly Q1); publication of technical articles in national journals; presentations in national and international congresses; co-authorship of 2 books and author of 6 book chapters. Researcher in the team of 27 R&D projects.
