I went to high school after primary school and while I was there, I was a tutor and also worked in the local congregation. I worked with 7 to 15-year-olds and it was one of the reasons I applied to be an au pair after high school.I became an aupair right after high school for half a year (5.6.2019-21.12.2019) in England. In this family, there were two girls, 9- and 11-year-olds, and 1-year-old boy. I was mostly with the boy when the girls were at school so the work taught me how to handle and adjust to new and stressful situations. I learned so many skills while having the best and wonderful time of my life!I have also worked in an accessories store called Greenwhale for three months until I was laid off because of the Covid-19. With only so little time in the store I learned a lot of communication skills, customer service skills and management skills. I started my studies in Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences 2020 and graduated with a Tourism and Hospitality Management degree in December of 2023. During my degree I finally realized that this is the field I want to make my career in. I also went to do an exhange at the Bournemouth University in England and that time really emphasized how much I love new cultures and learning in different ways. I have now worked in two different Spa and Congress hotels as a receptionist. These jobs have thought me how to manage stressful and hard situations with a smile and how to always remember to leave a positive impact on whatever you're doing. I'm so glad of every opportunity I have already gotten and can't wait what this life brings me next!
