I’ve got one foot in social sciences and the other stepping into natural sciences. My journey began in Global Studies, where I discovered a passion for marine-related sustainability. This interest led me to the Sea and Society program, where I’ve been diving deep into the intersection of the society and the marine environment. My background is in social sciences, but I’ve found myself increasingly drawn to natural science. From Global Studies to the Sea: My bachelor’s in Global Studies opened my eyes to a world of issues - from global justice to environmental policy. Somewhere along the way, I realized I wanted to focus on marine sustainability, so here I am in the Sea and Society master’s program. I’m working on finding a balance between these fields and using both perspectives to address marine challenges.
