At Shake Energy Collaborative, our team is pioneering community co-designed planning initiatives, integrating sustainable energy solutions with a focus on equity and inclusion. With a Master's in Urban Planning from UH Manoa, my role capitalizes on a robust understanding of urban dynamics and stakeholder engagement to foster resilient communities. Prior to this, I was working at the State of Hawaii, supporting the implementation of the Hawaii Ocean Resources Management Plan, steering state priorities in coastal and ocean resources management with a collaborative approach.My tenure on the Board of Directors at the Hawaii Wildfire Management Organization has enriched my expertise in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, fueling my commitment to social and environmental justice. This dovetails with my analytical skills honed through my project analysis work at the State of Hawaii, where I facilitated multi-stakeholder partnerships for sustainable coastal development. I am driven by the challenge of harmonizing community needs with ecological stewardship.
