From the housing crisis and youth underemployment to inequality and a just transition, SJCC + CS addresses them all by working with young adults to develop their personal, professional and academic skills, while eliminating the barriers to their success. The work that corpsmembers take on during their time in these programs helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, prevent drought and wildfires, create more affordable housing, and ultimately make the Bay Area community and the environment more resilient.
