About Sofia M. Westin

My latest project FLÖ∆E (flode.se) will launch later this year and I am very excited to be a part of the sustainable transition in the textile and fashion industry in Sweden. FLÖ∆E is a knowledge-based remanufacturing lab situated south of Stockholm and will offer local production with no new materials focusing only on recycling and upcycling to help accelerate the transition to a circular fashion industry.Textile remanufacturing in Stockholm - Meeting the European textile strategy:Flö∆e aims to minimize resource consumption, waste generation, and environmental impact while maximizing the efficient use and reuse of textile materials throughout their lifecycle. We are on a mission to challenge the idea of recycled products and materials, through knowledge, design and craftmanship. The name Flö∆e, refers to the circular flow of materials, the Greek letter Delta means change and symbolizes our intent to challenge and shift away from unsustainable practices, into a new era where garment production is not only local but also responsible. The factory space called NNML (No New Material Lab) is our answer to the linear fashion industry´s dated and unsustainable business practices, setting a new standard for garment remanufacturing by offering a flexible inhouse value chain of redesign and remanufacturing.~
