Sofia Marks began working at Women’s Birth & Wellness Center as the Bilingual Administrative Assistant in February of 2010. She was promoted to Director of Administrative Services at the end of 2015. She is originally from Santa Barbara, CA where she earned her Associate’s Degree in psychology from Santa Barbara Community College. Prior to working at WBWC, Sofia worked as a Job Coach at another non-profit, Goodwill Industries of Southern Nevada. In addition to assisting the front deck, Sofia also handles provider credentialing, patient medical record requests, Strong Start Peer Counseling, and is a notary public in the state of North Carolina. Being a mother of three daughters, her favorite part of working at WBWC is getting to hold newborn babies.
