Current▪ Develop, manage and execute financial controls and overall strategy necessary to manage large projects effectivelyby consistent application and interpretation of policy and procedures.▪ Perform cost control and budget management activities, including cost estimation, forecasting, and variance analysisto maintain project financial health.▪ Prepare and present regular progress reports and performance metrics to senior management, ensuringtransparency and informed… Show more ▪ Develop, manage and execute financial controls and overall strategy necessary to manage large projects effectivelyby consistent application and interpretation of policy and procedures.▪ Perform cost control and budget management activities, including cost estimation, forecasting, and variance analysisto maintain project financial health.▪ Prepare and present regular progress reports and performance metrics to senior management, ensuringtransparency and informed decision-making.▪ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate project controls and financial processes with engineering,procurement, and construction activities.▪ Implement earned value management (EVM) techniques to track project performance against planned objectivesand budgets.▪ Review estimates, purchases and materials management from multiple sources (internal and external); review andvalidate estimates, purchases and materials management strategy, scope and assumptions and ensure properfinancial treatment and classification of costs.▪ Perform all project accounting activities including monthly accruals and forecast input, monthly payroll and generalledger reconciliations, journal entries, and project completion close and year-end accrual activities. Serve as theliaison between Project Management and Finance teams to communicate and manage fiscal updates and/or changesrequired by Corporate Project Team.▪ Support business reviews, challenge sessions and stage gate approvals for projects by effectively communicating theresults of financial targets and highlighting major issues that may adversely impact results.
