I am a young researcher with a passion in developing material solutions in new energy systems for a more sustainable future: researching metals and their corrosion under harsh conditions, with a focus on high temperature corrosion in hydrogen economy applications. Although freshly graduated as a M. Sc. in technology, I already have solid working proficiency in the science and research world due to my long experience in research at VTT and Aalto University during my studies. I am well experienced in lab work and a large variety of characterisation and data analysis methods and especially qualified in microscopy techniques. High-quality science communication is important to me, and particularly oral communication is a strength of mine. Internationality is a given at VTT but even more so, my exchange studies gave me the tools to work in an international setting and appreciate different viewpoints.
