Work with research team developing PupilScreen, an application that will treat patients with mild traumatic brain injuries. Duties include preliminary research, grant reviews, and website design.

I had the privilege of working in Dr. Sameer Shah's neuromuscular bioengineering laboratory on a research project involving the quantitative histological evaluation of peripheral nerve injury. We performed laboratory techniques such as immunohistochemistry, cell culture, florescence microscopy, and tissue sectioning. Also learned QuPath bioimaging analysis software and GraphPad Prism. Performed statistical and quantitative analysis on data. This was all part of the ENLACE Summer Research Program for high school seniors and college undergrads from the United States and Latin America. While all the training took place in English, it was a rich multi-cultural and bilingual experience as much as a scientific growth opportunity.

Designed and executed English language learning curriculum and cultural exchange. Student cohorts: Primary and Secondary. Supported English language teachers with student evaluations, curriculum refinement, and pronunciation drills. Peer mentored students.
