I managed the Green NAU Facebook page and posting weekly/biweekly updates pertaining to sustainability in the NAU community. My position involved giving monthly class presentations, tabling and co-planning events with the events coordinator. Additionally I built the foundation for a proposal to fund free menstrual cups for NAU students to help reduce waste.

During my time with this at this work, I did everything from taking orders at the register to rolling spring rolls in the kitchen. Never before have I experienced the cruciality of effectively working in a team, because each person in the kitchen had responsibilities to one another and to our customers without which functionality of the restaurant's daily.

Door to door personal contact with a variety of different people,pace regulation and meeting quota were all skills I practiced as an Employee. I further developed more effective communication with strangers and within my work environment.

During this work experience I taught a variety of young children how to play the drum set. Each lesson was one-on-one 30 min session where the students, depending on their age and skill level, would practice simple beats on the full set, rudiments on snare and toms, and jazz rhythms. Each student received tasks to practice on their own and weekly goals to.
