Having graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rochester Institute of Technology, I am well versed in subjects such as microbiology, infectious diseases, behavioral therapy, and cognitive and developmental psychology. My education has equipped me with well rounded skills in biomedical communications and has taught my a multidisciplinary approach towards the field. Over my years as an undergraduate, I gained experience doing laboratory work of a variety of different subjects. I have worked with plants, chemicals, and microorganisms ranging from worms to bacteria. With a background in tutoring, shadowing healthcare professionals and being an emergency medical provider, and 2000+ hours of patient care experience, I am trained in interacting with people of different cultures, ages and mentalities. I have developed great communication skills, a keen eye for details, a sharp memory, well honed documentation skills, and the ability to make quick, sharp decisions under pressure. I have spent several semesters working in labs in teams of three to four people or conducting my own individualized research, and have performed many experiments: collecting samples, recording data, analyzing trends, and problem solving became things that I am very comfortable doing.Having been the Vice President of Programming for the organization Delta Phi Epsilon allowed me to hold responsibility for planning and managing large scale events, working as part of a team, and exercise time management skills. My duties included finding and reserving the venues for each event, handling event logistics, documenting minutes, meeting with team members biweekly for progress reports, and acting as a liaison between my organization and others to achieve our goals. My background has taught me to be dynamic, fast paced, hard working, organized, and most importantly of all always driven challenge myself, improve and continue learning.
