On my third day on this planet, my parents set sail to meander the Mediterranean Sea (and later made our way around the world). The first 9 years of my life, I was continuously exposed to so many breathtaking landscapes, touching stories, and ways of life. This shaped my conviction that business and sustainability are not a zero-sum game, rather they can complement and future-proof each other, building a more resilient world.I carry these convictions into my Intenational Business studies at Avans University of Applied Sciences. The program is comprised of project-based learning with real international companies. I recently completed my internship at The Hotels Network in Barcelona, where the final deliverable was to write a sustainability advice. This semester (the first semester of my fourth year), I am back on campus to complete a consultancy report for an international food company, with the goal of improving their Resilience.I aspire to contribute to the successes of resilient businesses and make this business concept more known and used around the world. I am very motivated by the new research coming out on this topic, and paired with my background, I believe I offer a unique perspective. I believe I bring a lot of creativity rooted in systems thinking, as Resilience requires a multidisciplinary approach. Also having worked in a variety of projects throughout my studies, I work excellent alone and in teams, bringing with me curiosity, responsibility, and a go-getter attitude.Outside of business resilience, I like to explore my creativity! I'm very interested in art, UX design, and languages. Most recently, I started crocheting as a hobby.
