Energy Smart Mediterranean School Network Project - ENI CBC Med Programme (EU Funded)Partners and countries: German Jordanian University (Jordan), Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (Lebanon), Agence Nationale pour la Maîtrise de l'Energie (Tunisia), Alcamo Municipality (Italy), Consorci de la Ribera (Spain)Objectives:- Pilot of a new process for monitoring-driven rehabilitations focused on most consumption-intensive systems and parts of buildings- Cross-border capacity building and mutual support among partners and stakeholders, from public/private/academic sector to: elaborate new strategies and tools for energy rehabilitations and reinforce capabilities of public authorities to adopt effective and sustainable energy policies- Training initiatives for students to develop their skills as future energy professionals and communication campaign to foster sustainable energy habitsIncreasing Access and Planning for Efficient Cooling Solutions in Jordan - Clean Cooling Initiative - Climateworks Foundation- Provide technical assistance to the Government of Jordan in upgrading its National Determined Contribution (NDC) to include efficient and climate-friendly cooling- Defining a strategic and financial action plan for the fulfillment of the established target- Pilot interventions in public schools will also be implemented and technical guidelines for intervention in public buildings to demonstrate how new enhanced NDC can be practically reached.

Management and assessment of environmental and social impacts of different organizations operating in several sectors (Industrial products, Oil&gas, ICT, Retail, Internal design, Events, NGOs) in the Climate Change and Sustainability Services team. Main activities:- Sustainability measurement and strategy: supporting organizations to identify and measure their social and environmental impacts by analyzing their internal and external stakeholder expectations and visiting and auditing national and international plants and production sites. Consulting organizations in the development of sustainability strategies and implementation plans, and in the identification of suitable targets and objectives.- Climate change strategy: supporting organizations to report and improve their climate change performances, to define their risks and opportunities and set their targets for emission reduction strategies.- Management systems: guiding organizations in the implementation and improvement of management systems by mapping their processes, measuring their performances, defining objectives and targets and identifying stakeholder needs and expectations.
