I am a commission artist turned UI/UX Designer.With a huge shut down of most businesses, I found myself furloughed & wanting to offer more to the world through my art. Having been a designer at heart since childhood, I managed to start and run my own art business since the covid pandemic started. With my strong work ethic I have accumulated a list of wonderful art clientele that I'm very grateful for & continues to grow. Fast forward a few years, now I get to add my artistic ability to the tech world.Prior to art, I was a sales associate for 3 years at a gym. Building customer rapport and solving problems in that environment became second nature to me. Through years of attending leadership conferences & reading books like Dale Carnegie's "How to Win Friends & Influence People" (which I strongly recommend to everyone), I have accumulated a plethora of business & people-related skills. Communication is key to any job, and so is adaptability. Through my experience in having a great job & the lack thereof, I can consider both communication and adaptability some of my core strengths. I am a people-person. I love helping others, making their lives better, improving their experiences, making everyone feel included. With product design, I believe I get to do all those things. Build things that make people feel like they matter. I'm excited to leave my footprint in the world of design.
