  In March 2019 I started to work as a full time director at Svenska Yle, the Finnish public service broadcasting company’s Swedish-language department. During my first months I have directed sport shows in our breaking news studio, eight episodes of the children's show “Hitta på med Bärtil” and several episodes of “Hittehatt”, also a children’s show. The two latter ones are productions done with actors in a studio. Before this I have been working at Yle's news desk, as a Director and Co-director for Swedish, Finnish and Russian broadcasting news and a Sport broadcast called Sportnytt. I started working at the news desk in January 2004. During my time at the news I have also directed several elections, in Swedish, for TV/online: The European elections night (Finland) May 2019, Finnish parliamentary elections April 2019, Presidential elections in January 2018 and Municipal election in October 2017, everything for Yle FEM. In the Finnish parliamentary elections and the European elections we used AR-graphics for the first time in elections nights shows at Yle FEM. Other bigger project i have been part of recently are: Renewing Yles news studio in January 2019. I was part of the group who worked with the project. My main focus, together with my colleague, was on the Swedish news (Tv-nytt), sign language news and Uusima regional News. In spring 2018 I worked with a group that tested and built a so called "breaking news" studio for the Finnish news. The first show went online in June 2018. Trump and Putin held a summit in Helsinki on July 16th 2018. I directed the Swedish stream, that partly was a broadcast production for Yle FEM, and that went on for over ten hours. For many years I also directed our Swedish Current Affair show, Obs Debatt, that ended in December 2018. During my career I have also worked as a News editor (Avid) and as an Educator for different projects within news.I am based in Helsinki and have been permanently employed since 2010.
