Sofi Sierra is currently in her fourth year at Cal Poly Pomona and is majoring in Communications with an emphasis on Public Relations and minoring in Theatre. She is on track to graduate in the spring of next year (2025). Sierra grew up in Pasadena, CA, and attended Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy for high school. Currently, Sierra works at Associated Students, Incorporated (ASI) as a Social Media and Marketing Assistant and previously worked at Cal Poly Pomona’s University Housing Services as a Business Services Student Leader. At ASI, Sierra has engaged in many diverse projects such as event promotion and marketing, concert media coverage, and political campaign marketing. Sierra is a part of the Kellogg Honors College at Cal Poly Pomona and of the Zeta Upsilon chapter of Sigma Kappa and currently holds the Social Chair position. On the side, Sierra pursues acting, having participated in over 10 theatrical productions in 7 years, and hopes to work in more in the future. Sierra aspires to work in social media marketing and content creation in the entertainment industry, specifically creating on-set content on movie and television sets. Sierra currently resides in Los Angeles, CA, and hopes to grow her skills in all realms of public relations.Eager to explore the intersection of my communication skills and creative instincts, I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead in the entertainment and content creation landscape.
