I had the opportunity to work on a recent project: "Study on Gas Permeation and CO2 Separation through Ionic Liquid Based Membranes". Development of different techniques for the study of ionic liquids has been pursued. I was able to learn some synthesis techniques and separation processes and also use different chemical analysis equipment in the lab. I.

I acquired experience on the Production & Quality Engineering department. I was mainly involved in drafting and updating the control plans for 3 different processes: cataphoresis, epoxy and cleaning techniques. I also interacted with technicians and train them in order to review and maintaining the project document as per the company standard using excel.

I worked in the Chemical Synthesis sector specifically in a chemical kinetics area of a catalytic hydrogenation reaction. I acquired knowledge about the manufacturing process, particularly about the unit operations, extraction, filtration, dryer and distillation. I was responsible to analyze and interpret data regarding the conversion of the reaction.

Having responsibility for organizing a speech’s programme, workshops, visits to chemical industries, open laboratories in IST and summer internships in order to help our chemical engineer students. Communication, organization and cooperation skills acquired.

The main responsibilities were: contact different companies, elaboration of a sponsorship tables, raise new and innovative ideas and activities planning. I was able to develop soft skills such as: creative thinking, teamwork, inter-personal skills, cooperation, oral and written communication skills.
