A current Senior at the University of Florida as an Animal Science major with a concentration in Animal Biology on the pre-vet track. Throughout my academic journey at UF, I've been able to hone my skills in animal biology, anatomy, research, nutrition, and handling. My main goal is to understand, care for, and advocate for our wildlife in terms of conservation and rehabilitation. My dedication to excellence has resulted in a strong foundation in the sciences, preparing me for the stringent challenges and responsibilities of veterinary medicine.I have accumulated over 1300 hours of clinical work, through both a small animal and specialty clinic, doing tasks such as assisting in surgical procedures, collecting lab samples, grooming, and maintaining the cleanliness of the clinic. Through UF, I have been able to broaden my experiences in animal handling such as with cattle and large animals. Outside the world of wildlife, I strive to teach dance at nearby middle schools. I have been able to efficiently adhere to studio requirements and deadlines, plan dance performances, and assist with the coordination and administration of dance choreography.
