About Sofía Then

I am a senior/first-year master of public health student at Washington University in St. Louis. My academic interests include medical anthropology, public health, biology, and Spanish. After completing my undergraduate degree and pursuing my Master of Public Health at WashU’s Brown School, I intend to continue on to medical school. I am interested in military medicine and serving our Nation's service members and their families. Contributing to my community sustainably and ethically is something I am passionate about. My time volunteering at the St. Louis Children's Hospital, my local VA hospital, and a local hospice home has already taught me valuable lessons about working in medicine and interacting with patients and their families.
