The company is based in Belgium and is a distributor of molecular biological and biotechnological products, which are meant for research purposes.The products that are carried are from many different manufacturers and consists mainly of ELISA kits, Rapid Tests, Cell Lines, Recombinant Proteins, Monoclonal and Polyclonal Antibodies, PCR kits, micro arrays (tissue arrays), different machines(e.g. for Electrophoresis), chemicals, growth mediums, DNA/RNA extraction kits etc..My position consists of communicating with customers by providing them with quotations for the requested products. A quotation includes prices, availability, lead times, shipping costs and conditions (some products are shipped RT, some on blue ice/ice packs, but others require dry ice.) In addition, I answer every question, request or concern, that the client may have. I send data sheets, brochures, user manuals, protocols, MTAs (for cell lines), CoA and other types of documents if required.I am the one who works for the most part with clients from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (German speaking ones), but I also work with requests from whole Europe, USA, Canada, China, Japan. The majority of the customers are university hospitals and laboratories; and private laboratories.My work includes constant communication with the manufacturers regarding price lists, delivery times, availability and any additional information that we and/or the customer needs. We also have frequent trainings regarding new/best selling products with the manufacturers themselves.The work and communication I do is carried out by means of e-mail, phone calls, and live chats, both in English and in German. I also work closely with my coworkers from the sales team and from the logistics, especially when it comes to dry ice orders.

I was an intern teaching Biology and Chemistry classes for students from the 7th, 9th, and 10th grade.For all of the classes, I had to beforehand prepare a presentation, class plan, questions and tasks for the students, and send out a methodological development of how the class will go. I also held a scientific laboratory experiment chemistry class, for which I prepared the protocol of action and also a safety protocol. All of this had to be approved and graded by the basis teacher.At the end of my internship, I was supervised and graded by my professors and the basis teachers (separate for Biology and Chemistry), with my final grades for my final classes being both excellent and were both for students from the 9th grade. (Cell Biology and Organic Chemistry study section).After my final exams and BSc, I am officially a teacher in "Biology and Healthcare" and "Chemistry and Environmental Protection" for all student classes from the 5th up to the 12th grade.
