As Supplier Quality Manager at Clear Channel, I got the opportunity to build a completely new role in the organization. The responsibilities stretched from managing the team in both day to day operations to develop a quality standard and supplier follow up strategy. I worked close with colleagues in Sweden, Norway and Denmark simultaneously and had to prioritize and manage the challenges present in the different markets. Furthermore, I did the following within the SQM role:- Manage the Supplier Quality team who worked mainly operational but also strategic.- Develop and use reports to follow up performance and KPI:s.- Responsibility for the deviation management processes - both day to day operations as well as the development and improvement of the system and processes.- Develop the quality processes for suppliers and daily operations, and be responsible for the operation processes in general.- Together with a colleague manage the yearly ISO 9001 certification, and work with any improvement suggestions and deviations from internal and external audits. - Manage projects concerning quality, improvements and work with suppliers.- Contributed to tenders/public procurement.

In this role within the division Assembly Solution High Flex, my main goal was to stabilize and improve the quality of products and components received by our suppliers. I had the main responsibility to communicate with the suppliers in regards of quality inquiries, such as claims from our own production or field returns, as well as receiving and discussing change requests to improve produceability and cut costs. Part from this, I was also responsible to conduct and follow up supplier quality audits. The work was cross functional and I needed to coordinate both internal and external.

In this role, I planned the material flow and create a manufacturing plan for a technically complex product. My responsibility included, among other things, to plan and coordinate most things regarding manufacturing and production of the product family such as supply of material, deviations, design changes and deliveries of hardware. I was also a big part of the industrialisation of this product.Part from this, I worked strategic with improving the processes and ways of working in the production planning team. The goal of this new role was to improve the capacity planning between all products that run though the production site.
