Expert with more than 12 years experience in applying circular strategy design and social identity formation through fashion. My research spans to action! Fashion for Change, craftsmanship valorization, social innovation, sustainability, decolonization and place-making are key on my work. My contribution to the sustainability agenda in Europe and Africa, culminated not only in my doctoral degree at the Technical University of Lisbon (2018), but also bringing the first event Modaafrica- Et(n)ical Fashion Week, in 2015 and 2017 in Lisbon. My doctoral research project explored Design for Sustainability (D4S) methodologies in defining practices capable of Fashion-able fashion based on “moving traditions ”.
