Having always been an eager learner, my academic path was focused on pursuing the topics that spiked my interest. This together with the hope to instill the same passion for knowledge in younger minds was what brought me to teaching. I started tutoring Mathematics and Sciences while I was student in secondary school. It was and still is very rewarding to see my students blossom and actually develop joy in the learning process. I’ve come to understand that each child has their unique strengths, and that it is our job as teachers to creatively help them craft their specific strategies so that each student can reach their full potential. I decided to fully dedicate myself to teaching and found in IB the innovative learning programme to spike young minds to become principled, caring lifelong learners as I believe we should all aim to be. I learn with and from my students everyday, either in classes or one-on-one tutoring, as I work towards helping them grow as learners and citizens of the world. I am currently teaching MYP Mathematics and I keep tutoring students from 5th to 9th grade.
