I oversee the NAMI On Campus High School program at NAMI California. This includes communicating with schools as well as local NAMI Affiliates to insure that they feel supported in this program. My position also requires that I present at conferences and meetings as well as host trainings for students and advisors. I also work with the communications department to assist with social media and our website when needed.

Over the past two years I have had the honor of working for NAMI California. At first I was responsible for completing their 2019 NAMI On Campus High School Curriculum, assisting departments with various tasks (printing, emailing, filing, etc), as well as answering phones. The second summer I start more administrative work, such as being the first response for phone calls, responding to emails to NAMI California, and becoming a bigger part in programs like NCHS and Mental Health 101.

My time as a resident advisor was the best thing I could have done to gain various types of experience. I organized meetings for residents, both individually and as groups, I was a mediator for conflicts between residents, as well as many other different tasks that were necessary throughout the year.
