St. Petersburg, Russia

I organized qualitative, sociological research concerning the spread of AIDS throughout the population of intravenous drug users (IDUs) in Russia. This required that I sift through a huge amount of information and create a database of drug street names, methods of preparation and percentage of virus spread. I also assisted the Center in working the bugs out of a survey that was being created in cooperation with Yale, to track behaviors in IDUs that spread the AIDS virus.
