Teaching English to 725 students at Dosong Middle School in Gumi, South Korea under a Fulbright Scholarship. Navigating a Korean-speaking work environment and creating lesson plans for 28 classes from scratch.

Created complex digital experiences for a wide variety of clients. Participated in every design phase: ran research interviews, client workshops, ideation, client reviews, rapid prototyping and project documentation.

Built and contributed to global health data platforms for clients like the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Lead the design bespoke digital experiences from start to finish, from creating a brand from scratch to shipping while working with an interdisciplinary team of writers, analysts, developers and science illustrators.

Used design research practices and designed rapid prototypes on a product (see link) that helps LGBTQ+ youth live healthier, happier lives. Also explored data visualization as an opportunity for sharing stories at Hopelab.

Research and develop solutions for Philips’ AEDs. Take into account user experiences throughout the lifecycle of the product. Apply systems thinking to the AEDs, their corresponding services, and all those who participate in the Philips AED ecosystem.

Design UI experiences and create data visualizations (interactive and across mediums) for science communications clients including Myovant Sciences and Exemplars.

Taught children (K–8) the basics of cooking alongside another instructor at a weekly after-school program. Stressed the importance of viewing food holistically (culture, environment, science) as well as safety in the kitchen! Also assisted with visual design needs.

Created data visualizations, animations and infographics for IHME printed and online reports. My infographics have appeared in major online and print publications, including the Washington Post.
