Dynamic consultant with experience in public procurement and open government strategies. Enthusiastic about projects that connect data, public policies, and technology to deliver better results for citizens, and that increase transparency and social inclusion. During the last four years, I spearheaded Open Contracting Partnership’s strategy in Colombia to improve public contracting results through open government strategies, open data, multi-stakeholder collaboration, technological tools, and a gender inclusion approach. Through various projects, I gained experience in increasing the participation of women-owned and women-led businesses in public procurement, strengthening multistakeholder collaboration that can lead to better results in public procurement at the local level, developing technological tools to facilitate access to open data and reducing barriers for SMEs participating in public procurement, mainly through access to credit. Previously, I worked as a consultant at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection. I structured framework agreements at the National Agency for Public Procurement – Colombia Compra Eficiente and began my professional career doing market research. I'm an Industrial Engineer from the Universidad de Los Andes. I hold a master's in Public Management from the Alberto Lleras Camargo School of Government - Universidad de Los Andes. Bilingual Spanish-English. I love biking, spending time with my dog Arya, and traveling.
