As part of Cardinal, I had the opportunity to develop valuable skills in customer service, enabling me to provide the highest level of support for the events we managed.

Throughout various intermediate and final phases held nationwide, I had the privilege of joining the University of Minho's women's handball team during my first year, a position I continue to hold. In the 2020/2021 season, our team achieved the historic milestone of becoming national university sports champions for the first time. In that same year, the Academic Association of the University of Minho (AAUM) was recognized as the university with the highest sports merit in the country. In the subsequent years, I secured a bronze medal in the 2021/2022 season, and further made history by winning gold medals in the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 seasons. These achievements also led to our qualification for the European Championships in Montenegro (2022/2023) and Hungary (2023/2024).

As CEO of Young Minho Enterprise, I led a dynamic team responsible for setting strategic direction and ensuring the successful execution of our services. My role involves crafting and implementing long-term plans, overseeing service quality and efficiency, and fostering innovation to drive the growth and success of our organization.

Responsible for the strategic management of the department in charge of executing YME's external projects. I have a role in accepting services and their allocations, defining the strategic approach regarding member occupancy rates, budgeting, and existing criteria, as well as monitoring all of YME's projects with regard to deadlines, feedback, and continual innovation. Additionally, I play a role in departmental meetings, member training, and overseeing all the documentation necessary for external projects.

This department is responsible for the execution of YME's external projects. It provided me with the opportunity to work in a real business context, with actual clients, as part of a multidisciplinary team. During my time in the department, I was able to develop various skills, not only within YME but also through my involvement with the entire Portuguese Junior Enterprise Movement. Additionally, I had the chance to oversee the execution of various projects, ranging from digital marketing to the company's online presence.

An event with a charitable focus that offers training sessions in YME's core business areas for both companies and students. In this department, as a junior member of YME, I had the opportunity to engage with the other departments and understand how they interact and collaborate to create an event of this magnitude. By selling event-themed socks and YME merchandise, all proceeds went to a charitable institution.

During one semester, we, as students of the Master's in Industrial Engineering and Management, had the opportunity to undertake a project for SMSA, a company based in Guimarães, as part of our Integrated Project course. We were tasked with developing a comprehensive plan for implementing a warehouse that would address the company's needs regarding inventory management and product retention. This plan encompassed the necessary steps and assessed the project's feasibility, covering the entire process from product exit from production to the picking system for customer delivery.

EY Ambassadors are representatives of the company, whether at events organized by university students in locations where EY is present, or by showcasing the quality of EY's services and the values behind the company's actions. It's a unique opportunity to represent and promote EY's excellence, connecting with other businesses and individuals through training sessions and networking events.

As a senior student in the 2022/2023 academic year, I applied to become a student tutor as part of the 'Integrated Project in Industrial Engineering and Management' course in the first year. This role aimed to assist new students in their initial adjustment and integration into the program, as well as provide guidance for their first foray into future project development.This project involved conceptualizing a company, encompassing the production process, material and personnel management, logistics, product positioning, the final product, and the target audience. My objective was to serve as a catalyst for change and a resource for students seeking advice and assistance, especially in what may be one of the most significant projects in their academic journey.

During the academic year 20/21, I had the opportunity to serve as the Sub-Delegate for the 1st year, and in the 2nd year, I was elected as the Delegate. In addition to all the responsibilities that come with the role, over these two years, I had the chance to participate in monthly meetings with the course director. These meetings served as a platform to discuss matters concerning all years of the program and foster an environment of sharing and feedback.

With an innovative vision of how the event should unfold, which is considered the largest in the Industrial Engineering and Management course, new elements were introduced. These included a Job Fair, Speed Interviews, Business Pitches, and an Exhibition of areas and master's programs that the course's students could potentially join in the future. As a result, the External Relations team managed to increase the number of participating companies by 200%, including renowned names such as Deloitte, PwC, and Bosch. Furthermore, their contributions to the event increased by approximately 240%.

This experience inspired and motivated me to pursue a path in association management. In an event with a significant impact on engineering and industrial management students, the responsibilities of this department included promoting moments such as workshops, roundtable discussions, and the associated competition to capture students' attention and optimize the number of registrations, thereby increasing student engagement in the course. It's worth noting that this was the first year of the event to take place in person after the pandemic and had around 200-250 participants from all years of the program.

ESTIEM is an international organization with a presence in over 70 universities and 30 countries across Europe, providing students with international experiences.TIMES is an international case study competition for industrial engineering and management students. It is a part of the course's annual program and spans two distinct days (Semifinals and Finals). During these events, teams work on a study case selected by the organizers for 4 hours and then present their conclusions to a panel of judges. I had the opportunity to participate in this event in two different years, 2021 and 2022, which allowed me to develop valuable skills for the future.

ENGeniUM is an event with enormous potential in the School of Engineering, as it can reach a fantastic scale in terms of student involvement and topics covered since it's designed for students from all engineering courses. The Competition department is responsible for organizing the competition associated with the event, 'The Clash,' which allows registered students to form teams and compete with original ideas related to a sustainable theme, in this case, 'Smart Cities.' Thus, organizing the competition proved to be a challenge as it was only the second edition, the first in-person, and required the involvement of all departments for sponsor contacts, promotion of 'The Clash,' and all the logistics involved.

I joined ABC de Braga in September 2020 and was invited to join the senior category in March of the same year, where I played in the Women's National 1st Division of handball. This experience was one of the most challenging in terms of managing expectations due to the high level of competition, and one of the most enriching in terms of personal growth and organization, given the need to balance it with my studies and personal life. I highlight this experience for the impact it had on my development, as it was challenging in every aspect and allowed me to continue practicing the sport afterward, both in university championships and recreationally in another club, where I remain to this day.
