Responsible of an $84 million USAID funded project portfolio focused on WASH and food security, including the Western Kenya Sanitation Project and Feed the Future Kenya Crops and Dairy Market Systems Activity. Manage all contractual, fiscal, and administrative aspects of the projects, including monitoring monthly cost reports and contractual compliance. Previously managed the $60 million USAID funded World-Wide Training Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity.

Managed day-to-day operations of three international development projects in Syria, Iraq, and Mali totaling $28 million in value, funded by U.S. Department of State, and UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) (Formally UK DFID, and UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office). Supported field offices staff to ensure project implementation through grants administration and oversee field team’s adherence to contract requirements and government regulations.Managed inventory and procurement of equipment inside and outside the challenging operating environment of Syria and ensured compliance with USG export control regulations and BIS export licenses. Led efforts to resolve inventory management deficit and improved reporting on purchased/exported equipment. Monitored project finances, reviewed and analyzed $700,000+ in monthly budget expenditures, and prepared monthly reforecasts. Developed budget-related communications, contract modifications and budget realignments for client review and approval to ensure projects meet objectives and are within budgetConducted short-term assignments to Berlin, Germany to provide operational support and capacity building to the field office, improving the staff ability to comply with internal procedures and USG reporting requirements

Project Senior Associate on the $134 million USAID-funded Improving Reading, Equity, and Accountability (ACCELERE!) project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, $15 million USAID-funded Ghana Feed the Future Agriculture Policy Support project, and $1.5 million U.S. Department of State-funded Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) Capacity Building project in Mauritania.Monitored project finances and budget, review invoices, prepare monthly reforecast and finance memos. Led efforts to streamline accounting reporting from different field offices in 8 provinces in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, greatly increasing reporting efficiency. Managed procurement, negotiation and selection of vendors, including technical assistance to improve financial management of several multi-million-dollar subcontracts as per FAR and AIDAR regulations.Conducted short-term technical assignment in Mali, close-out assignment in Ghana and start-up, operations, and Counter Violence Extremism capacity building training assignments in Mauritania.
