I am a sophomore in the Eli Broad College of Business pursuing a degree in Accounting. I am seeking a job in Accounting that allows me to demonstrate my skills of well-rounded communication, adaptability, optimistic attitude, and positive work ethic. I currently obtain a role in a student organization on Michigan State University's campus called VIM Magazine. VIM Magazine is a student-run organization centered around fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. As a member on the Finance team, I use my attentiveness and detailedness to record dues for all 275+ members, demonstrating my skills in Excel. This position has allowed me to utilize two interests which include mathematics and fashion. Along with my role in VIM, I have spent the past two summers as a full-time nanny. This job has allowed me to learn skills of communicating within different age groups, adaptability to work schedules, creativity, and responsibility. In the future, I hope to obtain an internship within the Accounting field that supports the skills of mathematics within a positive work environment.
