Sofiane Bouaichaoui is researcher at the Renewable Energies Development Center since 2008. He is the current head of the Concentrated Solar Thermal Power (CSP) team in CDER. He completed his engineering degree, than magister in mechanical engineering at Blida University, and is currently pursuing his PhD in Parabolic Trough power plants systems. He conducted several internships, and have participated in the International Visitor Leadership Program on renewable energy in US. His interests involve the characterization of the parabolic trough collector, modeling and simulation of solar power plants, Storage systems, Hybridization systems, and green Hydrogen.
