I was linked to the medical branch of the laboratory in the team called Wave Physics for Medicine (Inserm/CNRS/ESPCI). The group has pioneered many principles and methods for biomedical imaging, such as fonctional ultrasound imaging, shear wave elastography, ultrafast echography, and ultrafast ultrasound localization microscopy.

Development of microfluidic chips for continuous evolution of enzymes.The Experimental Soft Condensed Matter Group, commonly called the Weitz lab counts more than 70 researchers, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, under-graduates and visitors. They study a very wide range of science such as the physics of soft condensed matter, the properties of colloidal suspensions, foams, emulsions and gels, and they investigate the mechanical properties of biopolymer networks. The group also develops drop-based microfluidics for biophysics and biotechnology applications. Professor Weitz and his group have extensive interactions with industry. In addition, several start-up companies have emerged from the research leading to promising new technologies.
