I'm currently working on two projects:1) Horizon Europe ORBIS - Augmenting participation, co-creation, trust, and transparency in Deliberative Democracy at all scales. Project funded by the European Union.2) CIGAIA - Controversies and influence in the war in Ukraine: Study of Argumentation and Counter-Argumentation Using an Artificial Intelligence Algorithm. Project supported by the French National Research Agency.ORBIS responds to the profound lack of dialogue between citizenship and policy-making institutions by providing a theoretically sound and highly pragmatic socio-technical solution to enable the transition to a more inclusive, transparent, and trustful deliberative democracy in Europe. Our contributions consist in building models for automatically mining arguments from deliberation data involving EU citizens, and structuring them by identifying the relationships between these arguments.CIGAIA is positioned within the context of cognitive warfare. It will provide a better understanding of the informational environment of military operations, particularly how arguments influence the progression and outcome of controversies related to international issues, especially the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Our contributions focus primarily on the study of argumentation and counter-argumentation, as well as the identification of the underlying argumentative dynamics in these controversies.

At the Computer Science Laboratory of Orléans (LIFO), I've worked in the Constraints and Learning (CA) team on the thesis topic "Explainable AI Approaches for Image Captioning", at the intersection of the following fields: Explicability/Interpretability in Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing. This thesis aimed at developing new methods for better understanding and interpretability of architectures used for image captioning.

The internship took place at Laboratory of Digital Sciences of Nantes (LS2N), TALN team, in the context of the project XpliciT (Text simplification for a user). The objective of this project is to perform automatic explicitation of a digital text to detect and simplify the difficulties related to implicit informations contained in it, in order to facilitate the understanding of the reader (in particular Anaphoras). The considered users are children (mostly dyslexic ones) or adults learning French as a foreign language.
