"There is no such thing as a single-issue struggle, because we do not live single issue lives." -Audre Lorde. After five years of working in the Education field, I am continuing to explore my interests and what I want professionally. I love working with students and youth, but I am open to getting experience in different fields. I want to explore jobs outside of what I have done in the past; where I can learn and expand career wise and personal growth-wise. I am looking for a position that inspires creative thinking and growth.I have a BA in both International Studies (a focus on education) and Sociology, and I am conversational in Spanish. I am very eager to put my heart into any job that supports the community and advocates for youth and those who are underserved. I am passionate about environmental justice, social justice, global public health, and the fight for equity. I care deeply about what I involve myself with and hope to find an organization that I feel aligned with. I am excited to discover more opportunities to take on, and to find new projects or positions that may further challenge me.
