Currently working in a Catholic High School in the Diocese of Austin, where I teach grades 9th-11th Spanish, History, and Entrepreneurship. My current role as an educator consists of lesson planning, communication with parents and staff, and providing instruction/workshops.

Interning in the Worker's Rights Team this summer for a non-profit law firm. I primarily translate for clients, fill out intake forms and work with the legal team on proceeding with day to day cases. Handling workers compensation, discrimination and sexual harassment cases.

Completed my student teaching at SJD HS, this involves grading papers and creating lesson plans while working under the supervision of Mrs. Baley. I'll be assisting in teaching English I and III classes as part of the Teacher's Education program at St. Edward's University in order to qualify to be licensed by the state of Texas.

Completed my student internship at Austin Achieve High School, focusing on assisting students struggling in English II pre-AP that were bilingual as well as first generation.

Tutoring Japanese students virtually on Native Camp's platform, our 1:1 sessions focus primarily on their English Lesson coursework. I work with adolescents to elderly individuals who want to learn or improve their English pronunciation, grammar, reading, and writing.

The program is designed for undergrad students that don't have a legal background, and first-gen, and minorities to take some of their first-year law classes. The program does panels of judges, and attorneys from the legal field to introduce students to their options beyond law school. Overall the program gives the students the opportunity to engage in the legal community before applying to law school

Plan and manage virtual/in-person events for the student body to enjoy at low to free of cost throughout the semester. This included Hillfest, Homecoming, and several others. Required me to use Box, and write up contracts as well as communicate with vendors. Budget, marketing skills, and public speaking were another requirement.

Training and mentoring the Orientation Leaders for their roles over the summer for the incoming freshmen. Planning and Coordinating events for the new student enrollment, such as housing, campus resources, and college life hacks.

Accommodated incoming freshman's needs/experiences during summer orientation, to smoothen the transition from high school to college without any difficulty. Gave several important info sessions on what to expect on campus and resources for them to succeed during their time at college. Trained during Spring semester and worked 6 orientation sessions in the Summer over Zoom.

Was an intern at Crocket H.S. mostly helping students of low-income families or first-get to apply to college. I would assist them with filling out Apply Texas, FASA, and their College Essays. Would also create and design college material and translate Spanish/English for parents.

Was an Official Peace Corps Ambassador at St. Edward's University, promoting and recruiting students to join Peace Corps after graduation. Was aimed at recruiting an underrepresented student population on campus as well.
