I am a full-time graduate student at Texas Christian University pursuing a M.S. in Communication Studies after completely a B.A. in Communication Studies at TCU. I am also serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and will aide in teaching two sections of an introductory communication course.For the last three years, I have worked for Inspired Vision- the largest food bank in the state of Texas. This organization has revolutionized the way that people receive help. I have been directly involved in helping feed 334,004 families in 2020. I have helped out with every significant event we have done in the last two years including back-to-school giveaways, prom giveaways, graduation giveaways, and our giant Christmas toy giveaway. In the last year, we have digitized our records and began the process of digitizing the registries of families that we help. During this time, I became the liaison between our CEO and Iris Pieces Tech to ensure the maximum effectiveness of the program for our extensive database of clients that we serve day-to-day. I have learned to do just about anything and everything to ensure the proper, and effective run of a large company, and have been put to the test on multiple occasions. I have been able to supplement our organization and pour all of myself into my work. I have a large passion for what I do and a large amount of compassion for who I do it for.
