The envisioned BEGIN-Project “Transition to Blue-Green Infrastructure“ is an international and interdisciplinary research training group between the German Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and the South African North-West University, Potchefstroom to conduct excellent and highly relevant research on transition pathways towards blue-green infrastructure and at the same time promoting and empowering female researchers in this field. The BEGIN project is funded within the “Programme Advocating Women Scientists in STEM” (PAWS) as part of the African-German cooperation.

Project “XS New Holliday Homes, Thüringer Meer | Saalburg” Architecture competition for the design of holiday small house types at Thuringian Forest. Urban planning and timber micro architecture concept development. Two different prefab house types were designed with wood-based sustainable materials and wood insulation. Survey, Evaluation and Reporting of the “Energy for Life Online Game” state of data, focused on sustainable energy issues among students at high schools in Europe and South America.

“CM Wielandschule schoolyard design. Participatory planning project with children” Surveys and awareness-raising tasks were used to identify students´ wishes, which were subsequently evaluated. In the presence of the newspaper, the children opened their 3 weeks exhibit of models in the Kiosk KAKAO Weimar, Germany.
