METRO SA is one of the largest retail chains of grocery stores in Greece owning 280 stores, both «My market» retail super-markets and «METRO Cash & Carry» wholesale markets, strategically located all over the country and employing over 11.000 people.In Corporate Affairs we are responsible for the Employer Branding, Internal Communications, Social Responsibility, Media Relations, Public Relations, and Crisis Management. Grocery stores are a vital sector of the Greek economy, providing necessary products to households, occupying a great number of employees, and influencing local communities multiply.

OPAP owns the Markopoulo Horse Race Track and wants to utilize the venue as a destination to attract new customers and raise awareness for Horse Races. The venue’s positioning is family oriented and will consist of activities to address family outings during weekends for fun and entertainment. A development plan is underway to achieve those goals and create a unique customer experience in the venue.

Antenna Group owns a diversified portfolio of media assets, which in addition to free to air, pay TV and radio, comprises of television production and distribution, online and digital ventures, music production, magazine publishing, telecommunication services and education.In my role I managed for 7 years an in-house PR department supporting the Group, its 20 member-companies and 1000+ employees, while safeguarding the values of each brand separately and securing cross-promotion between the brands.

During the era of the telecoms industry huge transformation and with great competition among providers, Vodafone as a global brand was a protagonist. Corporate Communication played vital role and was a key pillar to the brand’s extroversion. Being part of the team, I worked for Product Launches, the Rebranding from Panafon to Vodafone, major business changes such as the merge of all Panafon subsidiaries, the creation of the Vodafone Foundation in Greece and the interception crisis. Furthermore, I have been responsible for large scale events, local and international conferences, CSR projects, the internal communication strategy, local and global sponsorships activations and the budgeting for each fiscal year.
