I was a part of a project team resposible for the delivery and installation of medical imaging devices to hospitals and medical centers in Finland and Estonia. In other words our team ensured a smooth customer journey and acted as the customer’s partner in project planning and execution. I eagerly took initiative in different project coordination tasks and felt accomplished when the customer was satisfied.

This position consisted of instructing, guiding and teaching the freshmen students of Turku School of Economics during a course called TEVY (preparational course for business life where the students solve real life cases for local companies). Students also learned to write proper reports and get to present their findings to the companies. It was my responsibility to help the students learn teamwork, critical thinking, information seeking skills and reporting as well as confidently performing in front of their class mates and company representatives.

The Association of Economics Students in Turku (Turun KY/TuKY) has over 2000 members and owns two local companies (Profea and Monttu Ventures). Its main purpose is to represent every student of Turku School of Economics and offer the best possible student life for them. TuKY is one of the most active student organization in Turku and in Finland, producing over 300 events and offering over 200 positions of trust annually.As a Vice Chair my responsibilities include: • Day-to-day operations of the Association together with the Chairperson • Providing support for the sub-organizations of TuKY (23 sub-organizations) • Being a member of the Financial Committee of TuKY • Coordinating TuKY Alumni relations and two annual Alumni events • Coordinating TuKY Mayday celebrations (11 events, turnover 25.000€)

As a customer advisor in Lowell, my task was to help customers with credit management. The job consisted of receiving calls, e-mails or chats from customers and advising them with their invoices or debts. During the summer I learned a lot about the credit management industry and debt collection. I also became a hard-boiled customer servant spiced with positivity, empathy and caring.
