Grand Prize Winner - Harvard Innovations and Ventures in Education (HIVE) 2023 Pitch CompetitionRealCollegeCost.com is a website that allows prospective college applicants and other stakeholders to see the average annual cost of a variety of colleges for their individual household’s income bracket in one centralized platform. The website can also be translated into languages such as Spanish, Vietnamese, and Tagalog to be more accessible to immigrant households. The project earns revenue through advertising from colleges that want to gain greater brand awareness among prospective students.

I founded College Application Advising with Sofia Zapiola because I believe the college application process should be accessible to all students. Through a variety of services, I assist 100+ students per year with aspects of the college application process.

Substitute teacher for K-12 classrooms at Roseville Area Schools and St. Anthony-New Brighton School District.

-Helped execute campus recruiting strategy, as well as various customer-service aspects of the recruiting process. -Supported recruiters by coordinating and managing candidate interviews, and helping candidates and recruiting personnel with other aspects of the recruiting process. -Various event planning duties (e.g., campus activities, job fairs and internship program activities)-Utilized Taleo and Yello software

-Processed cash, pledges, credit cards, stock, wire transfers, and other gifts and ensured all gifts were acknowledged in a timely manner-Planned and executed donor receptions and events including drafting invitations, managing guest list, coordinating with vendors and overseeing event set up and clean up-Scheduled meetings and managed calendars, sent email reminders and agendas, ordered snacks, booked rooms and other general administrative tasks for the Development Department-Served as Donor Concierge and implemented donor stewardship programs such as custom socks, birthday cards, and flowers-Maintained and updated donor database, created donor listings as needed, researched prospects and drafted donor profiles, and supported grants management process

• Oversaw all chapter activities related to member selection• Pioneered the first winter recruitment in chapter history, planning and executing an entire informal recruitment season in three weeks which resulted in five new members• Coordinated all recruitment events, including informal coffee dates and structured group activities• Educated recruiting members on values-based recruitment, focusing on having meaningful conversations to form profound connections with potential new members

• Welcomed guests and members into clinic• Booked appointments and answered questions in English and Spanish• Conducted guest intake interviews to determine massage needs and preferences• Sold Wellness Programs for guests to receive monthly massages

I worked as cashier checking children and parents into The Jungle Island, answering questions during their visit, and making sure all children went home with the right family.
