I lead Zimmerman Workshop’s interiors practice, which is my ideal balance of creativity and communications. With projects ranging from residential to workplace, I draw on past experience when facilitating meetings, managing projects, and articulating design strategies. I also oversee all marketing, business development, and all the day-to-day tasks associated with running a small business.

Provided communications consulting services to interior design and architecture firms. Clients included IA Interior Architects, Mapos, Foz Design, EDG Interior Architecture + Design, and Momentum Textiles.

In addition to being part of the product design and development team, I oversee all marketing, communications, and sales for Zimmerman Workshop's award-winning furniture company, Ot/tra.

- Developed and implemented corporate public relations strategy for an interior design firm with 12 offices nationwide and offices in London and New Delhi; reported to Chief Marketing Officer and Global Director of Sales and ensured that strategy supports marketing and business development objectives.- Promoted firm’s projects and expertise to local, national, and international media; publicity included articles in AIArchitect, CoreNet Leader, Contract Magazine, Hospitality Design, Interior Design China, Interiors & Sources, and The New York Times. - Ghostwrote and published by-lined articles on behalf of the firm’s leadership team; researched and co-wrote white papers for marketing and sales purposes.- Oversaw the firm’s internal communications program and the publication of three client newsletters: IAQuarterly, IA Green News, and Design DNA.- Co-ordinated awards applications and speaking proposals for national programs; supervised marketing coordinators on local public relations-related projects.- Collaborated with marketing team on branding strategy; provided creative direction for photography shoots.

- Researched and wrote articles about sustainable design, consumer trends, materials and textiles, and commercial interior design projects.- Spoke on behalf of the magazine at industry events; served on product design and textile competition juries; regularly attended design industry events and trade shows nationwide and internationally.

- Oversaw front-of-book news section for high-end travel/lifestyle magazine; assigned and edited articles.- Wrote articles about travel, design, architecture, jewelry, and fashion.- Provided additional reporting and fact-checking for feature-length articles.
